PRIVACY
Thousand Up privacy policy. Last updated 4 November 2026.
Thousand Up is made by David Perkins ("we"). This policy explains what the Thousand Up apps for iOS and Android collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an account ID and, if you share it, your email address. Apple lets you hide your real email.
- Your handle. This is the player name you choose. It appears on the public weekly leaderboard.
- Game activity. This means your points balance and the games you play, including stakes, results and daily scores. We use it to run the games and the leaderboards.
- Notification token. If you allow notifications, your phone gives the app a push token (a device identifier from Apple or Google). We store it with your account only so we can send you leaderboard alerts, such as being knocked off the podium. Daily reminders are scheduled on your phone and send nothing to us. You can turn notifications off in the app's profile screen or in your phone's settings.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads or use advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
- We don't collect your location, contacts, photos or payment details.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and is sent over encrypted connections. Sign-in is handled by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies. Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. This permanently removes your handle, game history and notification tokens. Your sign-in record is removed if you email us. You can also email us and we'll delete it for you. See how to delete your account.
Children
Thousand Up includes casino-style games played for points and is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
